Welcome to First Landing Consulting! I'm Andrea, CEO of First Landing. I do consulting work for small to medium sized nonprofits, as you've probably noticed on the site. I currently live in Portugal, while my work is for US nonprofits.

I was an Executive Director of a small nonprofit myself for twelve years. I know just how much you have to do to get it all done when you have limited staff. I covered finance, administration, grant writing, program evaluation, operations, IT and I can't even think of what else.

It's because of this experience that I do the consulting work that I do. It is also the driving force behind my side projects. StorySpark came about because of a need to continually write client stories for newsletters, grant applications, holiday appeals, and so on. You need to keep that content coming out--there's only so many times a quarter that your grantor wants to see Jimmy's Story. And it's not that you don't have clients with inspiring stories! It just gets difficult to create that fresh content again, when you need to get payroll done, and the board meeting is tomorrow night, and the copier just went down, and ...don't forget that you need a shorter version for social media.

StorySpark's aim is to help that one piece move that much more smoothly. Answer a few questions about your program and a client, and it generates the story. Different tones, different lengths, even different formats. There are also some bells and whistles: Add your metrics* to weave in. Connect it to MailChimp so you can send the story over there ready to go out. Connect it to your Wix blog, ready to publish. That's what I did, here. c

If you are a freelancer or a dedicated grant writer, there's a special tier for you that includes saving client agency info so you can continue to generate stories for each of them.
